Lights, camera…animals! That can only mean one thing: It’s time for ZooLights at BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo. Come from 5 to 8 p.m. on Nov. 24–Dec. 30 to see all the gorgeous lights. If you want to make your Christmas a little extra special this year, this event will do the trick. Plus, you can have lots of fun without spending much money. Adults and teens get in for $5, and kids get in for $3; you can find that in your sofa cushions.
This is going to be your first time to attend ZooLights? Get ready for some fun. You’ll walk a mile-long trail that will take you through the zoo to spot more than 50 illuminated sculptures that represent different zoo animals. You will also see some of your favorite traditional holiday displays among the lights. It’s seriously one of the most gorgeous displays in Baton Rouge, and a must for anyone who enjoys holiday lights and animals.
There is one thing to keep in mind if you’re an animal lover, though: Most animals go inside at night, so you probably aren’t going to see your favorite furry buddies. You can attend the zoo earlier in the day to see the animals, though, and then stay for ZooLights.
Special Events at ZooLights
Depending on which day you attend ZooLights, you might get to see more than the lights.
There will also be ornament crafting on Dec. 22, and Dec. 23. Also on Dec. 23, the Ugandan Kids Choir will perform at 6 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.
Talk about a lot of fun. It looks like your Christmas season is packed.
You need to find time to add one more item to your list, though: Head to Brian Harris Chevrolet in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and see us before you go to ZooLights. We will help you find the perfect Chevrolet for your next adventure. Then, you’ll be ready to go to the zoo or anywhere else you desire.
